On October 20, 2024, Sofos Insurance Agency organized a one-day trip for the corporate staff of its headquarters to one of the most popular destinations in the Peloponnese, the historic Kalavryta.
The entire management of the company participated in the excursion and everyone together enjoyed a beautiful autumn escape from everyday life.
The program included a first stop at Diakopto, where after a short pleasant break, everyone boarded the famous Toothy with destination Kalavryta.
There the participants lived the unique experience of crossing the Gorge next to Vouraikos, the river that creates small and large waterfalls.
Odontotos runs about 22 km and climbs to an altitude of 750 meters, while it is considered one of the most beautiful train routes in Greece.
After more than 1 hour of driving with Odontotos, the participants found themselves in Kalavryta, where they walked along the long pedestrian streets with the shops, which have local products, as well as the picturesque taverns and cafes, crossing small squares, in a beautiful landscape with stone-built houses and imposing plane trees.
After the tour of the center of Kalavryta, lunch followed in a well-known local tavern, in a warm and relaxed environment, where everyone tasted excellent dishes from local products, delicious traditional recipes and excellent local wine.
